I went bouldering at Way Lakes the other day. For this bouldering trip I wore my North Face Pulse Capri and complimented it with my b.tempt’d B.Active Sport Bra (review for this coming soon).
The capri is great for regular gym use, bouldering, easy climbing days, running, and yoga. The capri is suitable for hikes that don’t require you to walk through bushes and on hikes where there are low insect activity.
The North Face Pulse Capri is comfortable enough to be worn all day. I like how the compression feels against my body. The waistband slimmed down my tummy and didn’t feel uncomfortable.
I love the geometric print and the contrast of light grey and dark grey of this capri. Unfortunately I don’t think this print is being sold anywhere online. I had bought this capri in-store at Gear Coop. Lucky for us, North Face has other cool prints in stock!

The length of the North Face Pulse Capri is a little short for my liking. The capri barely cover my knees. I would like a little more coverage to protect my shins from scrapes. I know I could just wear full length leggings but leggings tend to trap too much body heat.
The North Face Pulse Capri fits true to size. I typically wear pant size 0-2 and XS and this capri fits nicely on me. For additional sizing reference I’m 5’4 and 110 lb.
The capri feels durable and does not get torn up easily from rock climbing.
